pickup/motorcycle accident

A Webster man was injured and a Gary man is facing a charge after a pickup and motorcycle collided this (Wed.) morning on the east side of Watertown.

Corporal Nic Ahman with the Watertown Police Department says Robert Steiner of Webster was on his motorcycle and James Deboer of Gary was driving his pickup. Deboer ran the stoplight and collided with Steiner’s motorcycle.

Steiner was taken to Prairie Lakes Hospital in Watertown and treated for non-life threatening injuries.

Deboer was cited for running the stoplight.

The accident happened about 8am yesterday (Tues.).
