Johnson seeks comments on new farm bill
Thursday July 29th, 2010
SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (AP) - Democratic U.S. Sen. Tim Johnson said he's taking comments from South Dakotans on how the current farm bill is working in preparation for congressional work on writing a new one. He's created an online survey that asks a number of questions. Johnson says it's important to know what works and what doesn't work before writing another farm bill. He's a member of the Senate Agriculture Appropriations Subcommittee. (Copyright 2010 by The Associated Press. All Rights Reserved.) AP-NY-07-29-10 0609EDT
