Thursday July 29th, 2010

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (AP) - A Sioux Falls woman accused of driving

in the wrong lane of an interstate in South Dakota and causing a

crash that killed a man has pleaded not guilty to seven felony

charges.

Twenty-eight-year-old Tammy Kvasnicka was

indicted recently on the charges, which include third-offense

drunken driving and vehicular homicide.

Authorities say Kvasnicka killed 27-year-old Michael Xayavong

and seriously injured another man on July 11 when she drove the

wrong way on Interstate 229 and collided with their vehicle.
